I want to thank everyone for thoughts and prayers.  We got home from hospital this afternoon.  Good thing I left early...still took 6 hours from drs. appt. till time they got IV hooked up...but I got him there early enough he wasn't dehyrdrated too bad.  Going to send letter to pediatrition...and take him for thorough check next week...and discuss this lengthy IV thing.  They didn't seem to think the two incidents were related...first one he'd tested positive for flu...but this last time they thought was just virus of some sort.  His blood work came back good...white count normal...electrolites fine...so got him there in plenty of time.   He perked right up after IV's were hooked up...and didn't have any more vomitting after we left the house.  He ran no fever...just a tad last night...but never over 100.2.  I'm very tired...and I'm going to take a LONG HOT shower...and lay down for awhile.
