Amanda has had no problem with going off the stress dose and back to her normal dose. That may be because she is on dexamethasone and not Cortef. The dex lasts a longer time in the body. She just had a day or so of fever and headache. She took her stress dose for two days and then went back to her normal dex. She had no problems.
