Hay there...I know your thinking, stranger :)  My understanding is that it the solu-cortef is frozen within three hours of being mixed then "officially" it has a shelf life of one month, but realistically has a life of six months...Either way I had Reily's refilled at three months.  We have meds. in my freezer as well as her schools.  Then in the car I have a the "need to mix" in case of freeway emeregencies etc.

Reily just had blood draws again... She now weighs 70lbs. and is 46" tall, five last October.  They are screening her Renin levels again, as they now think she might be mild "salt waister".  I have noticed with Reily (at least) when she is starting to have a "problem" the first thing that happens is her body temp. drops, then her blood pressure drops as well. Since last July she's had five episodes of stress.

On her last blood draw, they filled seven vials...by #3 she was falling alseep, hard to respond, nauseaus, etc... we took her into urgent care and her temp. was down to 95.6 degrees, gave her a stress dose and she was bouncing back within an hour.

I freind gave me a wrist blood pressure and plause kit and a ear thermomiter...We now have a "stress kit... Power puff girl back pack" we keep in the car.  It helps me to know if I'm over reacting or if she is having a hard time.
