What a nightmare you had to go through. I am so glad that you held your ground and educated the staff as you went along. Your son is lucky to have a "loud" mom for his very own. Unfortunately, I think this is the rule rather than the exception. We feel like we're being perceived as a hysterical parent who just wants attention. I'm so glad that you were able to get them to listen to you. I am sure that made all the difference in the world. BTW, did you have to give him the shot during this illness, or did they do it at the hospital?
