There is a new cream that has recently approved by the FDA for facial hair. I is called Vaniqa. It is expensive, but I have found that it works really well. also, many CAH women use spironolactone. It is a pill that binds up the testosterone in the blood stream. It takes a while to work (6-12 months), but it is really effective and relatively inexpensive. It is also by prescription. The other method is laser hair removal. It works best on fair skinned peoplw with dark hair. It is very expensive, but did help my daughter a lot. She now uses spironolactone, and has no facial hair, except the normal peach fuzz that non-CAH women have.
