Hi Lisa. I will be emailing you later today. I was just thinking about you guys yesterday. What is going to eliminate your worry? Well, taking the worry away . Write down a list of questions. A few days before the surgery call them if they have not called you. For my daughter they called the day before to get informaton such as meds. she takes and for what. I explained my fears and did NOT get off that phone until I felt better about the answer to my questions. The day of the surgery the anethesiologist came out before hand and spoke with us also. He went over the information once again and I expressed my fears to him. He reasurred me that she would be getting enough meds. for this surgery. Just drill them. Don't worry about annoying them. One they get paid a pretty penny for what they do and two, you are not the first worried mother they had to deal with. And last but not least, PRAY. This takes the edge off. I will be doing a Novena (special prayer) in your daughter's name the day before and the day of the surgery.Laura
