Hi Lisa, My daughter is now 6 1/2. We had her surgery done when she was 6 months old. We were going to have a reduction as well but once the surgeon started to operate he decided it Wasn't necessary. Only the Vaginoplasty was necessary. I do not know how severe your daughters condition is but hopefully the surgeon will decide when he (she) gets a better look. I wish you the best. Steve
