hi lisa,  I have  just read your messages on the site ,  i have a daughter aged 12  she has cah ,salt loosing ,she had a clitirol reduction and a vaginaplastey at aged 2  at alder hey hospital in liverpool, i really do know how you feel , i was worried for all the same reasons as you. sarah my daughter , was in theatre for about four hours ,but those seemed like 24 hours ,i thought she would come back to the ward,  looking terrible,but to my surprise and joy ,she had been given a spinal block and came back to the ward looking fine and didnt seem to be in any pain,  we had to stay in hospital for 10 days ,sarah had a catherter in her vagina so that she could wee, she had quite a  lot of stiches inside and they gave her morphine  for the pain ,i wished  at the time ,it could of been me instead of her ,but she was fine afterwards and i never regret making the decision for her surgery to go ahead , it will be tough over the next few days but you will all come throughit fine,if you want to ask me anything at all ,write on the message page,  good luck to you all.
