Kathryn, you are right in that you have to keep an eye on the medical staff. When Ryan was in the hospital for 4 days after going into crisis, the nurse was preparing him to go home. She was going to give him his afternoon meds and my husband decided that he would do it instead. As she passed the meds to him, he noticed that the amount was TEN TIMES too much! She had moved a decimal point by mistake. She was very shaken and appologized profusely, but we vowed never to assume that they are giving the right meds or the right amount.LynnT
