I was talking to my mom about this subject the other day. I know what you are saying as far as having heard of bad experiences and realize you did not mean this board only harbors bad news. We have experienced good news here, and that is obvious.  I just said to my mom that I really feel we find more bad outcomes of this surgery than good because people are more apt to seek out help in support groups. Of course I did not mean badness only comes out of message board either. We all know without this message board we just couldn't get through what we do, successfully.  I came to this board seeking help because I was having a hard time coping with my daughter having CAH. I needed more information and support. That is what a message board is for to seek support for your concerns and with this board share our goodness. Bobbie, I believe it was your story about your daughter being born and the mishap that happened that matched mine that got me through my hard time. With every story I heard, I healed. Thank you so much. The mishap does bother me at times still. But I pour that energy into Newborn Screening because I NEVER want that horrible experience to happen to another child and their parents. But to know I do not feel alone is priceless. Thank you for that support.
