There was a woman on here I believe this or last month seeking surgery to reconstruct what was done incorrectly to her. (Is that right?) Did you get to speak with this woman? Wasn't she from Australia?  Perhaps she is onto something good. Please don't take Bobbie's comment wrongly. I had just said to my mom that when things do go wrong with this surgery, a person is more apt to seek out help in a support group and perhaps that is why we tend to hear more surgeries that go wrong. That is not a bad thing. Heck, I come here seeking help for everything! And we know there is goodness that comes from this board. And when in any support group you need to hear both side so every story. Then support each side. Like I wrote to Joan, yes I can see where a person can suffer from having the surgery done wrong, and yes I can see where a person can suffer from NOT having the surgery done. To not see both sides is unfair to both sides of this subject. What should be concentrated on is how to bring these two concerns together helping EVERYONE involved with female ambuity. Just curious, is your daughter a salt waster? Did they identify her CAH through her ambiguity or did screening catch it?   Thanks Goldie. Hang in there. You will find help for your daughter. Your determination is there.
