I understand your beleiving a clitoral reducation is for cosmetic reasons, but I think it depends on the size of the enlarged clitoris and the labia, my daughter absoletely looked like a well endowed boy at birth absent the testies, I know for sure I had three sons prior to her, and if we did not have the reduction, I know for fact that my daughter would not have had a "normal" childhood being raise as a girl and fully looking genitals of a boy.  She has excelled at sport but especially swimming, and there is no way a she could every enjoyed this sport and competition wearing a team suit, It just doesn't work that way.   So yes it is a cosmetic reason as such but also a natural reason to lead a "normal" life with activites.
