Hi Everyone,

  My Mom and I were talking about CAH and I remembered something that happened in kindergarden that I would like to share with parents.

  I was taken out of kindergarden to have my surgeries done. When I got back to class my kindergarden teacher wanted me to tell the whole class what my stay in the hospital was like and why I went there. I can remember sitting on her lap with the whole class sitting on the floor looking at us. Even now at 30, I remember what it felt like to slide off her lap telling her no. Even as a five year old, I realized the surgeries were my personal business.

  The teacher wanted to use me as a lesson plan about being in the hospital. She was a well meaning person that didn't mean any harm. That experience was just one of the many bumps on the road of life.    :)
