JOHN T. (Son Drew)My son has come into this world with a very distressing disorder, mostly for his parents. I've read a great deal of the messages contained on this board and one subject really catch's my attention. My son will occasionally vomit two to three times after taking his meds and eating. From what I've read, it seems like I should give him his shot and rush him to the hospital!! I don't want to overreact, but then again, I don't want to underrespond to what he might need. For all I know, he might be what's called (Crashing!!) I guess the most important thing to do is watch him very closely, and if I detect any changes at all, call the Endo, or the Ped immediately!! It also seems that he is very irritable, and fussy most of the day, sometimes even has very painful gas pains, which I think are caused by the meds. Has anyone else experienced this type of reaction to those meds. One Pharmacist noted that the base used could be adjusted to make it easier on his stomach. Like I said earlier, this is all new to me and my wife, and we're just joining this board to educate ourselves and to make this situation a little easier on everyone, and heck, it doesn't hurt to have a little support from people who are going through roughly the same thing. Thank all of you ahead of time for your help!! John, Melanie, and Drew of course.(the little 14 pounder born on Nov. 27th, 2000)
