Give your daughters lots of love, never leave them alone with doctors or others your not 100% sure of.

Some doctors (most because of the rareness of the condition)are curious and don't think about the long term emotional effects and scars that the exam's leave.

Vaginal Exam's are not necessary every visit (unless there is a good reason).  

Vaginal examinations are not necessary every visit to the doctor and should only be allowed with one or two regular doctors or surgeons.

Not by nurses, interns or visiting doctors associates.

Parents should always be there during any exam and ask lots of questions.

Remember that this feels like being violated and should be considered every time.

Your child will always remember these visits & your support (or lack thereof).

It's like a little bit of the childhood goes away with every visit to the doctor.

I hung my head low, until I learned self esteem & to love myself.
