Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your knowledge and experiences. You are right about the exams. I once asked my son what he hated the most about the doctor's visits and boy was I caught off guard. I was totally expecting him to say the needles or the blood draw, not "when he pulls down my pants and looks at my penis". This prompted us to ask the doctor if it was really necessary to do this at every visit and we all decided that it would be done every few visits unless we had any concerns. I can only hope that we made the change soon enough and that it doesn't effect him psychologically. We tend to forget that boys can be bothered by this and feel quite embarrassed. This is a very good point to be brought up.LynnT
