My daughter who is 5 years old is having some trouble in school,  her teacher told me that she is very shy and indrawn.  She felt she might have a learning disability, which I dont believe because she does fine at home.  I felt like maybe she should get involved in some counseling where she could be in a support group with other kids who have some

medical problems because in our state I dont know of any other families with CAH.  Anyway, I took her to the only counselor who was accepting new patients with my insurance.  I was not impressed,  the man told me he was familiar with CAH but thought that my daughter was also a hermaphrodite.  I explained to him how wrong he was.  He said oh, thank you for setting me straight, but he seemed very arrogant.  I decided not to take her back to see him.
