Hi Michelle,  my now 7 yr. old daughter also had a really hard time in kindergarden, her teacher also mentioned that she just did not fit in. My daughter having gone to school since before she was 3 and has always been very sociable and always at the top of her reading group was now very discouraged when it came to school, she would cry and that was not like her. When the teacher was out she would come home in such a wonderful mood and so happy. This teacher also told me that she was a munipulitive child and would cry so that she would not have to go to school. She never did that before. The following year, the very first day of school she came home so excited and she told me "mom my teacher likes me this year", I told her im sure all teachers like their students. She said no, my teacher did not like me last year! She has not had any problems since and she also plays basketball and softball and is very outgoing. I think it all depends on the kind of teacher each child has. She has had really caring and kind and loving teachers eversince and they care about each child own indivisual personality. All kids are different. All i can tell you is to keep loving your daughter for who she is. You know her better than anyone. She will find her niche and when she does stand back and watch in amazement and enjoy.       God bless and keep us posted...
