Lynn-my CAH daughter seems to have lingering scars after even the tiniest scratch.  I don't know if this is CAH-related or not.  Of course wer'e still dealing with the vaginal bleeding which still is unresolved-whether it's directly related to the surgery she had is still unknown.  Could be scarring, could be an unhealed area-we still are trying to find out.  We do know however, that it is not related to a bleeding disorder.  Hematology visits and tests have ruled that out-and her platelets function fine (meaning the blood coagulates properly).  Perhaps that scar on your son will eventually go away, just may take a little longer.
