Hello, Since the birth of our little one almost a year ago. I have been coming to this MB It has been a life saver for me. You all are great and together we are better. I would like to share our story with you. My spelling may or words at time may be wrong I have suffered a Head Injury.

On Feb 4 2001 It was a great day the sun was out and the yard needed to be raked before the spring rains. So my husband watched the children (Guy 5, Ana 3, Alex 3, Ta 11mos.) I wanted to get outside and do something. Latter that day about noon we deceided to go to our farm house which is about 9 miles from our lake house. The farm is where we were planing on being moved to by march 1 so we could sell this one. We packed a pinic and as we were getting ready to leave my son moved the gate at the top of the stairs. Will Tatiana (CAH) fell all the way to the bottom of the stairs. She just got up looked at me and smiled. I could not beleive it. So we looked her over and she was fine. Not a scratch So we loaded the childred and were off. We had a great time swing and running and playing in the sand. When we got ready to leave it was about 3. We hooked up our 16' car trailer to take to the other house to load stuff on to go back to the farm. (we where driving a 1999 surburban) We had went about 6 miles when something went wrong we still dont know what. My husband was driving the truck started swerving here and there and he said i can not stop it. we where only going 30 miles per hour. The brakes did not seem to work. It was sling the truck all over the road. Then it sent us off the rode and down a 35' embankment with hugh bolders that built up the road. We rolled and rolled. I dont know much of what happened untill latter. The roof had came down and smashed my head. I was traped and unable to move. I was telling everyone about CAH and Tatiana I did not know or understand that she was or was not hurt. I was gotton out by the jaws of life and Life stared to a Trauma 1 unit at UT. almost 1 hr from our home. I made it, But the most unbelievable thing is that none of the children were hurt not a scartch on them form the glass or anything and to see the truck you would say no one could survie that. The only window not broken was the one beside of Tatiana (CAH salt waster) And some of you may be asking by now where did the 16' trailer go.

Will that was came to me when they removed me from the truck I looked up and it was over me. the Truck was laying on the passinger side and driver side up. and on the door behind the driver where Ta sit is is where the front of the trailer landed on her door. Just one inch and the trailer would have went in her window. I know the angels where watching over us. I hope for what ever reason my life and all of our lives where saved for is forfilled. My husband was not wearing his sit belt and he has 2 broken ribs and chiped hip bone. He took care of the babies will I was not home.

I know it is long but I also know all of you understand what would of happened if Tatiana was hurt in any way. The Emts did not know what CAH was They will now. So even as I carry my injectable every where with us it is no good if I am not there to give it to her.

Thank you all for this board.
