Laura, Thanks for your input regarding my post. In Brooke's case the newborn screen came back negative and a subsequent blood test showed an elevated level of 17OHp which from what I understands indicates she has 21-hydroxylase deficiency (or CAH). The pedi endo then ordered a ACTH stimilation test which Brooke had 2 weeks ago and we will meet with the endo this Friday to go over the results. We are anxiously awaiting this appointment and will keep you updated. Thanks for your well-wishes.
