My insurance has a $15 co-pay for name brand drugs. Since this is the cost for a 30 day supply, I get a small discount such that I pay about $11 for a 30 day supply (60 5mg tablets). For the dexemethosone (injectable) I am required to get pre-approval and go through a special mail order pharmacy. Last year I recieved enough medication, syringes & alchol wipes for 30 injections, plus an at-home sharps container and my cost was a whole $2.36! Janet
