Thank you all so much for your responses. I know that there was a thread on this not too long ago and several people noticed unusual scarring from a relatively mild scratch. I wonder if it has to do with the lower amount of cortef produced. That is what we need to produce in order to heal. Maybe the man made stuff just doesn't work the same way as the real thing. Oh well, this is just a small thing when compared to all the rest of what can happen. Thanks again for your understanding.
