In the same circumstances we would give our daughter a triple dose (or the injection depending on how high the fever) and THEN go to the ER. How incredibly frustrating for you. I would give your child stress dose of cortef for a fever. I feel after reading so much info on this board that I need to decide what is in the best interest of my daughter. Some one else posted they double at a fever of 100 even though the endo says not to stress dose until 101. Good luck!
