Laura, Paul is right, however Dr. Maria New's office in N.Y. has the sequencing equipment available to search for the rare forms of this disorder. How do I know? Because my husband has a very rare form of CAH called Exon 7T. Through this testing we also found that my daughter was a carrier of that same rare type of CAH. These are the ones that are not usually picked up under the "normal" testing. Anne Carlson is the genetisist at Dr. New's office and she will do the test for about $600.00.
