My son has had 2 lupron injections and his prednisone was increased only by 2 mg.The last 4 weeks have been horrible he is VERY hyper and more aggressive I am at my wit's end he is constantly getting in trouble at school and at his after school care.I don't know what else to do I've tried so many different methods of discipline and rewards for a good day.Is this normal for him to still be hormonally out of whack after 2 injections?It was my understanding that the 1st injection would overstimulate his pituatary gland for some time but then he would calm down.I am looking for suggestions to curb this behaviour and any book's that could help.I thank you all in advance as I know I'll get some good advice.I'm leaving for a week to go to Mexico(a much needed break) but I will be back on the board as soon as I return.Take Care.
