Yes, one of the signs of oversupression is what is called a "moon face". It makes the face take on a puffy appearance in a relatively short amount of time. Also, the meds can cause sleeplessness as well as an increase in appetite. Don't worry though, the test will reveal whether he is oversupressed or not. It is good that your doctor takes such interest in your child. Many don't and it doesn't get picked up until the symptoms are more severe. The symptoms will disappear as his levels come back in to line. If he is oversuppressed there should be no permenant damage caused in such a relatively short period of time. This is a great board to have available to you. I didn't find it until my son was near death when he was 4 years old.
