i spoke with the  endo dr today re zachary's lab results.   he had his blood drawn in december and it was 11 and the lab was redone a week ago and it was 6.2 so the dr. told me to lower his afternoon and night dose .i asked her again about the puffiness in his cheeks and she told me the medicine might be part of the reason they are so puffy but she thinks it mostly because he is just a chubby baby.  the lab is so confusing to me, we have been giving him 1.5 cc of cortef 3 times a day since november and the lab results are so different each time.  it is a double edge sword, too much can hurt him as well as not enough.  i have read that too much cortef can affect his growth and he has only gained just under an inch  in his height from november till now.  i guess i need to just take it one day at time.  thanks for your response to the earlier post. :o)
