I'm a 36 year old female with CAH and I personally take offense to the term intersex, I don't think that a woman wants to be known as being part man.  I looked up something on one of the intersex sites and Addison's disease was also listed, I don't think people with Addison's goes through the surgery we do.  When I was a teenager I would have been horrified to be referred as being intersexed.  I do believe that hemaphrodites are intersexed and any condition where you have a penis that is functionable and also female organs would fall within that classification.  An enlarged clitoris isn't a functionable penis no matter what you do with it.  I think if I was half man I wouldn't have been able to carry two beautiful little girls for nine months and deliver them, I don't think that a hemaphrodite can get pregnant and carry babies.  I really admire all you parents with these little kids and the fact you are making the best decisions that you can for them.  God Bless you all.
