Cool! It would be great to have a second alternative when considering options while pregnant with a CAH baby. There would have to be studies done as to the potential side effects of long term use on both the baby and mother, though. And don't forget: we already HAVE a pre-natal treatment that does just that (albeit, not without some adverse effects on some women). I took dexamethasone for my entire pregnancy, and my CAH severe salt-wasting daughter's genitals, urinary and reproductive tracts are completely normal (and I am a very strong advocate for this treatment!!).
