Bravo Laura!  I commend you for  what you are doing-someday it will help many families.  Upon diagnosis we were informed of the need for the injection and showed how to do it.  But I was still very afraid that first time.  I wonder if allowing the parent to inject an actual dose of solucortef right there in the hospital would actually help to take away some of that fear!?
