Summer heat and its effect on CAH patients........

My daughter will be 4 this summer. Mind you it has been pretty hot here in the 80's with humidity. I know we have to increase the water for our kids when they are out in the heat and I do. BUT, I have found that my daughter does not do well in the heat lately. She is due for her bloodwork and last time she was oversurpressed. As an infant her levels were always good until the Cortef recall. Then she was undersurpressed until this past Spring. She never seemed to have much trouble with heat before but now it seems her little body heats up quicker than usual. Her cheeks get really rosy. Now she usually has a pretty warm body. Especially at night. I do too. So I feel she runs warmer than the average person. But anyway, when we are outside unless we are swimming, she complains that she is tired and wants to go in. This concerns me. Any insight besides keeping the fluids running? Does anyone see a difference in their non-CAH kids holding up better in the weather? Is it just a normal kid thing. I know I "wilt" in the heat myself. Thanks!
