surgery... would like info... sorry for "explicit" details...

I am a 19 year old girl who has been diagnosed with Congenital adrenal hyperplasia a few hours after birth.

Ever since then I have been treated (with pills) and up to now I never had any major problem with the treatment. I lead a completely normal life.

When I was about 2 I had a first surgery done on me to reduce the size of my clitoris.

The doctors always suggested to wait for the latest time possible to have my vaginal reconstruction done. I can have a normal period and everything, so my only pressure would be a sexual one, and psychological.

Even though I tryed I never had any detailed and technical clarification on the technology and process used in this next surgery:

Can I take it even if I don't plan on being sexually active in the close future? Would I be completely equal to a "normal" woman afterwards? Would I be able to feel "something" during intercourse? Will there be my skin there? Would it show after sometime? Is there any substantial reason to believe that if I wait another few years to take it, there will be better technology that will allow me to have a better job done? And finally... who is a surgeon I can refer to, who has experience in this kind of operation (I live in Italy, but I can travel if I need to...)?

My parents always kept me aware of my condition, so I don't have any trouble in handling it, but I really would like to know more about this surgery.

Thank you very, very much for your help,

Sincerely,

Julia.
