It is so wonderful to hear from a young woman such as yourself talk so openly about CAH. I have a one year old daughter with CAH and I hope that she handles herself with as much confidence, self assurance, and dignity. I'm sorry that I don't have any information on the surgeries. My daughter has not had any done. We are waiting to have her labia unfused until she is older and the clitoral surgery is her decision. My question is personal so if you'd rather not respond I'd completely understand. I always thought we'd have to have her surgery done before puberty to allow room for the blood to flow. I am wondering how it is that you have no problem menstruating. My daughter has an opening just below her slightly enlarged clitoris which she pees out of. I'm wondering if this will be adequate for the blood flow. I realize you are no doctor and you haven't seen her but any information you could provide would help us.
