Our endo has an absolute COW if you call CAH a "disease"!!! - she says that it is a CONDITION (I guess "disorder" would be close!). A disease, by medical standards, is something that is progressive in nature - getting worse and worse with time. CAH (when controlled properly) should not "get worse" with time, and (theoretically) should not result in death either, which a disease often does. So there ... my two cents' worth!! God's blessings!
