Lynn, My brother took a dose of .5 of Dex last night and I talked to him this morning. No headache! He usually wakes up with them.

Thanks for all of your encouragement. There are times where I think I should just "leave it alone" and not keep after him - the problem is he seems to be getting worse. He missed the whole week last week from work due to headaches. I will call him again tonight and see how he feels - he's agreed to take the dex for several days and see how it goes. If we could only get a doc to do a DHEA and 17OHP then he'd have some information. Tom is getting worn down by doctors too, after seeing so many that thought everything from a pinched nerve in his neck to a brain tumor (he had a CT scan) and noone has any answers - it gets tiring. I only have to think of all of the folks on the Addison's board who have said on the average it's taken about 3 or 4 years to get diagnosed with Addison's - CAH is less often thought about by docs then Addison's certainly. Anyway - thanks again - I'll keep you posted.
