That is incredible news Susan!!! You (and Tom) must be very excited. This indeed could be the answers to his prayers. Although it is way too soon to jump to any conclusions after one dose, but I can tell you that my son responds almost immediately when he gets his Cortef. If we happen to run even a little late in giving him his meds he becomes cranky and gets a head ache. This happens especially when the weather is hot and he's been sweating a lot. Perhaps your brother has been out all last week because of the recent hot and humid weather. Even with LOCAH you can be effected by the heat. Dehydration was the cause of ALL of my son's crises. It started with a flu or illness and, through loss of body fluid, he became severely and rapidly dehydrated. We give my son lots of Gatorade or the like and it seems to perk him right up. Maybe this will help your brother as well. We also let him eat lots of salty foods as needed. I will be praying for good results again tonight. Good luck and please keep me posted.
