Hi , I agree with Amber. The choice is up to you. My daughter had her surgery almost a year ago and i do not regret it one bit. It was my decision and i stuck by it. There will be alot of negative posts, but ultimately its you and your husband who has to decide what is best for your daughter. My daughter went through it with flying colors and her pedi-urologist checks her every few months. She does have sensation. Good Luck and God Bless.  Tina
