Re: Re: Re: How about a voice for all the women that did NOT have surgery and...........

This once again has become a one sided issue. No compromise. So I will not waste my energy or patience with yet another battle. (And anyone can quote my past post's all they want.) I would like to hear a voice of a woman that did NOT have surgery and hated their life because of it. I did have some CAH adult email me and tell me her own story. So for people out there that are truly believing that they did a horrible act by having their child have the surgery because of these posts, know that there are people out there that did have surgery and as an adult ARE happy about it. There are people that did not have it and regretted it until they themselves had the surgery done. So there are always two sides to every story.  Remember, a message board's nature (any board) is to bring their questions and concerns about the subject that is being discussed. It is not a board that will have post after post about how wonderful it is to endure a life with CAH or how wonderful it is to watch our children (yes whom we love) deal with CAH day to day. Nothing wrong with that. I know this board alone has lifted my spirits from the wonderful people that do post here. In any kind of support group you are seeking help. So remember just because you don't read it here does not mean that there are not people out there that are happy with their surgeries. Let me make a final statement (not that it will matter with all the grief I will get from this post or not) But by posting my thoughts on this subject in no way lessens my compassion for the women that did have bad surgeries. Just know, every story has two sides. Not all surgeries end bad. (Besides I don't care what is posted, or where the information comes from, I know my daughter is not intersexed)
