The point is that in this day of pushing gender barriers the term "intersex" carries way too much negative connotation for the circumstances a girl or woman, or for that matter a boy or man with CAH has to go through. We have boy's with CAH being called hermaphrodites because of the confusion that term (intersex) brings. If indeed what you say it is supposed to mean is true, then it's either being misapplied to many groups, or too broadly applied. In any case it's offensive to many if not most people with CAH as well as their families.
