Lets face it no one likes to be labelled but unfortunately the medical profession, like society have a lot of words that can cause offence.  I am sure an overweight person hates being called obese or even fat, even if they know they are.  Sometimes we cant see or admit that our children are over weight, we just don't like to see it as parents (this is just an example!)  The thing is, we as parents have to try and not let these 'words' get to us, and try and take them in the context they are meant in, or it will just add more stress to this condition (which is just not about taking replacement hormones, which  is how some Endo's seem to view it!)  Remember no one here is trying to criticise only help us.  I have learnt more from this board and the people such as Joan, Lynn T, Anne, Carol, too many mums to mention, than I have from any doctor.  I like to know that I am not alone in my worries and I thank the adults for their in put once again.  I talk to my friends about it, they say the right things but I know they dont really understand, where as I know you all do. To Janet, it is a pleasure, I am sincerely voicing my opinion, and I hope it has made you feel better!  We need you, dont ever forget that.
