Medical research on clitoral surgery on females with CAH and genital is limited.  Research becomes even more difficul to find if you are looking for clitoral surgery satifaction of children born in the 1950's and 1960's.  I suggest going to a local college library and/or medical center and searching through CINAHAL (a nursing database) or MEDLINE. 

A point to keep in mind is that if the surgery has changed in the last 6 years and it is being performed on children ages 6 months to 5 years, that means that the kids that had the surgeries with the new techniques are currently only be 7 years to 12 years old.  Physicans will not be able to determine if their "new" techniques work until the children become sexually active.  Personally, it is way to early to see if these "new and improved" techniques are successful.
