12 weeks pregnant- is it too late for dex????

Hi everyone,

I'm now 12 weeks pregnant with a girl. I just found out today the sex of the baby thru CVS. I'm the one Roberta spoke of earlier in the post ( in Seoul, Korea). My first child, girl has a nonsalt-wasting CAH, she has just a slight clitoral enlargement but almost unnoticeable.  Anyway, I was told of conflicting views on whether I should take the dex or not, since my first child didn't virilize. So, it's taken up til now to decide on the dex.  I was first told that I do not need prenatal drug therapy while I was in the US,but my doctors in Korea recommends that I do. And so, I will be on dex asap.  I'm wondering what some of the side effects of dex you may have experienced? Incase this child has CAH, isn't it too late for stopping virilization, since I read that all sex organs are developed in the gestation of 6-12 weeks. If anyone has input, would be helpful.
