Our first daughter has salt-losing CAH and so I had a CVS with our second daughter.  The problem was that it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced, even comparing to childbirth!!!  The only good thing about it was that it only went for a few minutes.  I had to lay very still during the procedure which was extremely difficult given the pain I was experiencing.  I said after that, that I would never have a CVS again, however I am pregnant again and have the decision to make.  Are all CVS procedures painful or was I just unlucky on this occasion?  I would be interested to hear from any other mums who have had a CVS.
