My son started wearing his Medic Alert bracelet at age 3 months. It is the standard metal bracelet with the tiny metal chain. He never had any problem with it and because it is metal, it dries quickly after baths, hand washes, etc. and I don't have to worry about it wearing out, like a cloth or threaded "chain" might. Just a thougnt to consider.
