Anne is right. Make sure you go to an endo who is extremely well read on the disorder. Otherwise, what good is their opinion after all. You could try Dr. New's office at Weil Cornell in New York. You will probably get to see her for the first time you bring your child there and then you will be seeing her colleagues, but they are still well educated in the treatment of CAH. They run all the right tests and don't hesitate to re-run them if need be. I have found most of them to be quite knowledgeable and eager to answer all my questions. It gets a little frustrating waiting to actually see Dr. New as she has too many patients (in my opinion), but she is perfect for a second opinion. She is also not much for bedside manner, but I already had one who had a fantastic bedside manner and he almost killed my son so.....he also was the cheif of pediatrics in a world renouned hospital. You are already one step ahead by questioning everything the docs say and getting a second, third, or even forth opinion if you gut tells you to. Good luck and keep us posted. Dr. New is one of the world's top docs who deal with CAH. Go to the top of the main page and look under "People" and you should find a lot of information on her.
