I live in Western Canada and I took my son to Dr. New in New York.  It is a 6 hour plane ride....was it worth it?  Definetly.   She changed his medication, and he is doing much better now it terms of growth.  I actually like Dr. New's bedside manner, not much for chit chat, but very professional, very informative.  We have continued going there, even though it is quite costly to us, airfair, hotel etc.  but for now we can afford it, and will continue going there as long as it is affordable to us.  They are great.  Dr. New is considered one of, if not the most knowledgeable doctor in the area of congenital adrenal hyperplasia.  Although, I know some people on this board are not big fans.  Her office number is 212-746-3462.  It usually takes about 3 months to get it.  Whatever you choose, I hope it works out for you as well as it has for us.
