Wow! Day Camp! You are one brave woman! ; ) Seriously, it sounds like the perfect set up. Anyway, the "sparklers" you mentioned can indeed be caused by high OR low blood pressure, and can also be a sign of eye troubles. I would speak to his endo about it, and even maybe the eye doctor (when was he for an eye check-up lately??). BUT, I would be inclined to think that the "spinning around" that he did just before this episode had something to do with it - like the dizzy feeling that you get if you stand up too fast sometimes; activity and things like spinning or sudden changes in altitude can affect blood pressure. Of course, with our kids, the blood pressure thing is a little more of a concern. Perhaps he is/was dehydrated from his active day outdoors; this can affect BP, too. How are his med levels?? Maybe a little extra fluid and something salty wouldn't be a bad idea, either, to help with possible dehydration; I know that our kids are their own experts when it comes to recognizing that they "just don't feel right", but I also know that MY son might not pay attention to these sorts of physical signs in the midst of a fun and fast paced activity. I can definately relate to the BP thing, and have seriously considered getting a BP monitor for our home! (how's THAT for paranoid!) Hope that helps, and that everything turns out OK. God's blessings.Wendy-Lee
