My daughter took her last Lupron shot last month. About the time she stopped taking them I read an article on Lupron and bone density loss. I believe the article dealt with adult women taking Lupron for endometriosis. Still, it is Lupron. My daughter has broken each arm just above the wrist, her thumb, one arm a little higher up (stress fracture), and her ankle. She is only 12. We don't believe she has a bone disorder which is causing these breaks. Each time she has been playing a sport or doing something physical when the break occurred. There have been many times when she has fallen pretty hard and not broken a thing. Still, we think the number of breaks is unusual. The endocrinologist agrees, as does the orthopaedic doctor. Neither are familiar with the article I read on bone density. Kristin is scheduled for a bone density test in October (first time they could schedule her). Meanwhile, does anyone else have any experience or knowledge about this?Kay
