I was just wondering if anyone has had themselves and their spouse tested after discovering that your child has LOCAH-my husband and I both had symptoms of it as a child (and some now) but neither of us were ever diagnosed.  I thought we should both be tested, both for the information for any future children, and for our own health.  I called to get a referral for us from our dr. and explained why-then I was asked if it was "medically necessary" for us!  I was a little surprised and I wonder what sort of reaction anyone else has had-our daughter's endo said the order for tests or referrals had to come from our PCP-he couldn't do it.  I argued and I did get appointments.
